Synopsis
A Turkish woman in London struggles with feelings of guilt, sorrow, and anger after a natural disaster plunges her homeland into a state of national crisis.

Director Biography – Stephanie Yasemin Renique
Stephanie Yasemin Renique is Dutch and Turkish and is based in London. She was raised in Indonesia and in The Netherlands, where she was educated at the International School of Amsterdam. She then moved to California to pursue her bachelor’s in Business Administration. Afterward, Stephanie lived and worked in Istanbul, Turkey as a tech startup entrepreneur before relocating to England to study at The London School of Economics and Political Science, where she attained her first Master’s degree in Management.
Several years into a successful career in the tech industry at companies including Apple and Microsoft, Stephanie left her job to become a storyteller and develop a career in performance and filmmaking. She trained at London Rose Bruford College in the prestigious Conservatoire Acting program where she attained her second Master’s degree in Acting in 2019.
Stephanie has since been producing and directing documentaries and shorts through the independent film company “Riverine Productions”.
