Director Biography
Michael Stephen Usondu Hudson studied at Sheffield Hallam University in the United Kingdom before being invited to study in Belgrade, Serbia where he was briefly mentored by Rian Johnson who is known for writing and directing; Knives Out (2019) and Star Wars; The Last Jedi (2017). He has also been mentored by Krzysztof Zanussi who is a multiple award-winning writer/director who has most notably won Cannes and Venice film festivals top honors, and Aleksander Sokurov who has won top honors at Cannes, Venice, and Toronto.
Following his time studying in Serbia Michael returned to the United Kingdom where he spent the following years working as a director, cinematographer, and camera operator on a variety of short films, feature films, documentaries, music videos, and television programs around Europe for companies such as BBC, NBC, Rai, Arte, and Reuters.
After moving to Russia Michael wrote and directed his first 2 features films which are set in Vilnius, Lithuania, and Lahore, Pakistan.
