Synopsis
The film tells the story of an amateur photographer who took a collective portrait of the inhabitants of the villages of Oleszka, Jasion, and Żyrów, located in Opole Silesia (this region belonged to Germany until 1945). These are the photos taken in the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s by amateur photographer Franciszek Lepich. Their original glass negatives in the amount of almost 800 were found in 2016.

Director Biography
Sławek Mielnik (1980). I graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk in the field of Photography, and I graduated from the Cinematography Department at the Film School in Łódź. I am a member of the Association of Polish Art Photographers.
I work as a freelancer on a daily basis. As a photojournalist in 1999-2003 he worked for Gazeta Wyborcza in Opole, 2003-2018 in Nowa Trybuna Opolska. I also work with Rzeczpospolita, the Editor Agency, and the Polish Press Agency.
I am a co-founder of the 2.8 Foundation and a co-organizer of the Opole Festival of Photography.
