Synopsis
The animation series “Go Go Giwas” aims to include content from the indigenous cultures of all 16 of Taiwan’s indigenous peoples. In Season IV, the newest installment, there are 14 episodes each 12 minutes long, which include stories from Taiwan’s indigenous Tao, Bunun, Rukai, and Pinuyumayan peoples. Within this season’s animation stories of festivals, legends, ecology, and traditional knowledge of indigenous communities, there are new characters, music, backdrops, and new content around science concepts of space stations included throughout.

Director Biography – Yi-Feng Kao
Yi-Fneg Kao is a Taiwanese animation director who has had a passion for drawing and animation since he was young. He enrolled in the Computer Animation program at Full Sail University in the U.S. in 2002. After graduation, he returned to Taiwan and worked as an animator, responsible for producing guide videos for museums and other attractions. In 2008, he directed “Go Go Giwas”, which won the Best Animation Award at the Taiwan Golden Bell Awards. The work is light-hearted, interesting, and educational, and has been well-received by audiences.
