Director Biography – Gabriella Kessler
Gabriella Kessler (Writer/Director) is a recent graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where she studied at Stonestreet Studios (Film/TV) and The New Studio on Broadway (Musical Theatre). As a writer and director, Gabriella gravitates toward stories of complicated, flawed women, and is committed to capturing their messiness, strength, and humanity on screen.
She was one of four recipients of the NYU Tisch Drama Award for Outstanding Achievement and has appeared Off-Broadway in the new musical Rose’s War and on the final season of Succession. Upcoming acting credits include The Beast in Me (Netflix), Long Bright River (Peacock), The Life List (Netflix). I Don’t marks her debut as a filmmaker.
