Duboree Das
Duboree Das is a filmmaker and writer. Born in Guwahati in northeast of India, she has always been drawn to storytelling. She took a circuitous route to film; from studying economics to working in advertising till she finally cut her directing teeth on Inheritance. Her stories are often tied to memory and trauma and excavating the past through a visual lens. She is currently working on her debut feature screenplay and lives and works in Mumbai, India.
