Director Biography – Tianyun Zhao
Tianyun Zhao, a young director, and cinematographer, studied MA directing at London Met Film School. She was selected for Shanghai Vancouver Film School’s “Talents Plan” in 2018. Her work Waking Lion was the official selection at The 18th “Commemoration of Pinellia” Beijing (International) College Students’ Images Exhibition; Summer Heat Fallback Plan won the Best Film Awards (Student Unit) at the 8th Kolkata Shorts International Film Festival, and screened at the Pingyao Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon International Film Festival; Almost Forgot won honorable mention at Vancouver Chinese Film Festival Chinese College Students Micro Film Festival.
