Director Biography – Walid MESSNAOUI
Born in Casablanca, he graduated from the ESAV Marrakech film school in directing and editing. In 2015, he made a documentary “SIX ET ZERO” while completing his master’s degree in “editing”. The documentary was selected for several international festivals, including Malmoe Arab Films in 2016.
In his quest to learn more about cinema, he participated in several residencies and workshops around the world, such as “La Fémis: Université d’été – France”, “Fajr Talent Campus – Iran” and “INTERACTION Camp – Serbia”. In 2022 he made his first short film “NO KEY”.
