Synopsis
Daniel and Linnea are two troubled teenagers uncertain about their futures. When a zombie apocalypse erupts in their quiet town, they cross paths. Though they don’t get along at first, they have no choice but to work together to survive. Over time, they develop a friendships and uncover a deeper purpose in their lives.
Director Biography – Emil Broo
Emil Broo was born in Gävle in March 1993. Growing up he always had a passion for writing stories and started to edit and film himself at the age of 10 years old when he discovered the program Windows Movie Maker. He learned filmmaking at the age of 16 when he studied at a Media program at Borgarskolan in Gävle. Since then he has been making short films with friends and later with colleagues and professional actors and filmmakers in Sweden and he has also competed in local and international film festivals with his films.
He also studied at Film and tv production at Dalarna University and Professional Video Editor at Medieinstitutet in Stockholm.
“Se upp för Zombies”(Watch out for Zombies!) is his first feature film, financed by local film funds, crowdfunding and from his own money.
